FAQs

Where is the best place to park?

Our parking lot is located at 48 Meeting. You may also find off-street public parking within walking distance at White Point Gardens or on Broad and East Bay Streets). For Uber or guests who need closer access, we suggest dropping off in front of the Sanctuary at 61 Church Street.

How do people dress for worship?

There’s no specific dress code at First Baptist. You are welcome to dress however you’re most comfortable! You’ll see everything from “Sunday best” to casual among our adults.

Where do I take my children?

We ask parents to register children in our Welcome Center. We offer classes for all ages during Sunday School and we have a beautiful new nursery for infants and toddlers with a trained and caring staff. During worship, children ages 3 - completed K5 will learn and worship in Preschool Praise Time (during worship children meet our leaders at the front at a designated time.)

 

Other than Sunday morning Bible study and worship, are there other opportunities for Bible studies or meeting other members?

Go to the "Get Connected" menu for all ages and group opportunities on Sundays, Wednesday nights and other weekdays! We also have Wednesday Night Supper (September - May) prior to Wednesday Bible studies, Awana, Children's Choirs, Sanctuary Choir rehearsal and more!
